Artwork by the Dutch Artist Dini Henkes (1935-2022)

Albertina (Dini) Henkes was born in Eindhoven on March 6, 1935. She studied at the Arts and Crafts School in Den Bosch. She moved to Amsterdam in 1957 and worked there for several years in Lucie Q's studio. Baker, together with a.o. Jan de Rooden. Little is known about her creative and working period. A single exhibition in which she participated (including in Den Helder) is known to us. Dini died in Amsterdam on April 19, 2022.

In the collection of the Ceramics Museum Princessehof in Leeuwarden, a statue of her in the shape of a bird with large human feet from 1973 is included in the collection.
