Henri Victor Gabriel Le Fauconnier (5-7-1881,25-12-1946) was a French Cubist painter related to the work of Henri Matisse. Le Fauconnier went through various artistic phases as an artist.
First of all neo-impressionist period (1905-1907), then Breton period (1908) in the style of Nabis/ de Fauves. Then the Cubist period (1909-1913) and the Dutch expressionist period (1914-1919).
Internationally known oeuvre in Cubism futurism influenced work. In the collection of many museums in France, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria and the USA.
