Large set of 6 figures - Stabchen Raucher Macky Smoker figurines and a antique smoking Mickey Mouse

This is a rare large set of collectable Vintage Stabchen Raucher-MACKY German smoker toy figurines, including a antique Mickey Mouse (Steamboat Willie) from another brand, but same period. These toys where made in East Germany during the 1950's.

West Germany had differing views on smoking. German Libertarian style believed in the right to smoke and tobacco was widespread. When Germany split, West Germany was doing an anti-tobacco movement and led to one of the first public anti-smoking campaign in modern history. It was the most powerful anti-smoking movement in the world. East Germany was against the campaign and by the 1950s were influencing people to smoke, thus producing things like this set of "smoker toys”.
